Two people, one coast, a lot of walking.

FoxWhitty is a mother-and-son photography team based in Tasmania. We photograph the landscape, the wildlife and the plants of the places we can reach on foot, on a boat, or in an afternoon's drive.

With over five years behind the camera, most of what is here was made on the east coast — granite, lichen, cold water, and whatever else was in front of the lens that day. We don't stage anything, and we don't chase the shot every other photographer already has.

The archive is kept the way we shoot: everything in, sorted by subject and place, so you can go looking rather than being shown a highlight reel.

If you want a print of something, or you want to know where a photograph was taken, just ask.
